Karimour
Originally from Beirut and based in Montréal, Karimour is a DJ, graphic designer, and art director whose work lives at the intersection of music, nightlife, and visual culture. Influenced by Beirut’s vibrant club scene and years spent across global party destinations—from Bali and Sahel to Tokyo, Abidjan, and beyond—his creative identity is shaped by movement, cultural exchange, and a deep love for the dancefloor.
An open-format selector rooted in house music, Karimour moves fluidly between soulful house, disco, nu-disco, Chicago house, minimal, and timeless grooves. His sets are genre-bending and instinctive, drawing from different eras, sounds, and influences while maintaining a strong sense of rhythm, energy, and flow. From deep cuts and niche discoveries to familiar favourites, his selections are driven by the energy of the room and a natural instinct for the dancefloor.
Beyond the booth, Karimour brings his background in graphic design and art direction into nightlife, curating events and shaping their visual identities from concept to experience. He is the co-creator of Starlight Disco, a queer-forward, Ottawa-based event series with a strong drag presence, celebrating disco, house, and genre-bending sounds through high-energy parties and immersive visual experiences. He has also joined SKANK as part of its core team, contributing to the collective’s programming and creative direction. In Montréal, he is part of YGM, a house music collective bringing together DJs, artists, and dancefloor culture.
Across music, events, and visual culture, Karimour brings a playful and intuitive approach to creating experiences that feel immersive, expressive, and full of personality. At the heart of it all is a love for bringing people together through sound, movement, and pure groove.
