Nicki Nastasia

Nicki Nastasia is a drag artist & history enthusiast with over a decade of experience creating performances that explore the intersections of queer identity, history, and fashion. Inspired by historical costuming Nicki uses drag as a medium to illuminate forgotten stories, and create meaningful connections between the past and present.

As the founder of The Throne Room, an event company dedicated to producing historical and educational experiences by, for, and about queer communities, Nicki is committed to making history accessible, engaging, and inclusive. Her work explores queer histories, celebrates her Salvadoran culture, and highlights the ways in which performance can preserve and share the stories of marginalized communities. Through hosting, public speaking, and performance, Nicki creates spaces where audiences can learn, celebrate, and see themselves reflected in history.

Throughout her career, Nicki has brought her artistry to stages and screens across Canada, appearing as a model in Seasons 1 and 2 of Sew Fierce on OutTV, as well as being featured on Season 1 of Drag Brunch Saved My Life. Her expertise in drag, fashion, and performance has also led her to contribute as a consultant for the RuPaul’s Drag Race Mobile Game, helping bring authentic drag culture and artistry into the digital space.

Whether performing, hosting, or producing events, Nicki creates spaces where history comes alive; reminding audiences that queer people have always been part of the story.
